This cross programme funding opportunity is part of our commitment to help the health and social care system become more sustainable and reach net zero status.

From November 2024 we will be welcoming applications for both:

• new primary research studies to establish the effectiveness of new, promising, or existing interventions, and
• evidence synthesis to support the translation of effective interventions into policy and practice.

We anticipate that a range of projects in size and scope will be commissioned where possible.
